Isyana Sarasvati (born 2 May 1993) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter and the founder of REDROSE RECORDS. She is a graduate of Singapore's Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and London's Royal College of Music. Known for her original compositions, she wrote all of the songs on her 2015 debut pop album, Explore! and on her three subsequent albums, Paradox (2017), Lexicon (2019) and ISYANA (2023). She has also performed as an opera singer in Singapore. She is the recipient of numerous Indonesian and international awards.

EARLY LIFE

Before gaining fame as a pop to multi-genre singer and songwriter, she had built a reputation as a classical music soloist and recitalist. Isyana Sarasvati also participated in numerous musical competitions. At age 15, she won a "best composer" award. Her song Wings of Your Shadow was selected as the 12th best composition of 3,500 entries in the International Junior Original Concert (IJOC). As a result, she performed the electone at the IJOC 2008 concert in Bunkamura hall, Tokyo, Japan. Isyana Sarasvati signed a recording deal with Sony Music Indonesia in 2014 and released two singles, Keep Being You (2014) and Tetap Dalam Jiwa (2015). Her albums have received positive reviews and commercial success.

LABEL

After six years with Sony Music Indonesia, Isyana Sarasvati on 20 October 2020 announced she had established a music label called REDROSE RECORDS. On 2 February 2021, Isyana Sarasvati and her husband Rayhan released a single titled 1+1 to mark their first wedding anniversary.

ISYANA SARASVATI: “A SOLO CONCERT CELEBRATING A DECADE OF HER CAREER”

From the beginning of her career, Isyana Sarasvati has always been known as a musician who continually proves her ability to stand out in the national music industry. Through this concert, Isyana will encapsulate her decade-long musical journey. Not only will Isyana perform as a diva with her usual total musicality, but she will also challenge herself to delve into a musical journey that has been very close to her since childhood. This concert will be an honest expression of the bittersweetness of life, capturing every emotion present in her songs, major and minor harmonies, as well as the spaces that have influenced her. These elements have breathed life into her music and the losses that eventually brought balance, shaping Isyana into who she is today.

Isyana will take the audience on a captivating musical journey. The best songs from her four albums, “EXPLORE!”, “Paradox”, “LEXICON”, and “ISYANA,” will be performed with special arrangements. Isyana Sarasvati will celebrate her 10-year journey in the music industry. This solo concert will not only reflect her works but also be a celebration of the dedication and love from her fans.

The orchestral ambiance will be one of the concert’s lifebloods. Assisted by Avip Priatna and the Jakarta Concert Orchestra, we will enjoy a different experience from Isyana Sarasvati’s musical performance. This solo concert will also be enlivened by performances from the Batavia Madrigal Singer and The Resonanz Choir, ready to deliver a unique experience.

This concert will summarize all life phases as a medium to celebrate the colors and awaken the Isyana that had once “fallen asleep.” The concert will be a powerful turning and burning point. Isyana invites all music lovers in the country to be part of this 10-year concert, to celebrate together, experiencing Isyana’s “rebirth,” purity… pure.. rebirth.

Latest Single

Isyana Sarasvati once again greets her fans with a new single. After releasing her fourth album titled “ISYANA” and the single “Ada Ada Aja” last year, the diva now presents a beautiful new melody titled “Aku Rindu”. For Isyana Sarasvati, 2023 has been a long year full of surprises and lessons for her. She pours various life stories into this song, especially about feelings of letting go and loss. A story that surely becomes a universal experience, presented as a poignant lesson to strengthen.

The single “Aku Rindu”, which is Isyana’s heartfelt outpouring, is presented in a melancholic musical arrangement as the opener for a series of singles to be released throughout 2024. Every choice of simple words in the lyrics of this song is a manifestation of Isyana’s desire to be close to the feelings of everyone who listens to “Aku Rindu”. Interestingly, this simplicity deepens the emotion when the song is heard. As depicted in one of the lyrical excerpts:

“Sampai bertemu lagi,
Dengan dirimu kasih.
Semoga bersama lagi,

This work is a very special surprise. With the help of Lafa Pratomo as co-producer, Isyana Sarasvati presents soft piano tinkling and a majestic string section, inviting listeners to feel her emotional depth. “Lost, broken, empty, rising, and learning to let go of the person you’ve been waiting for. But no matter what, ‘Aku Rindu’, this song is for you, from the deepest part of my heart,” says Isyana Sarasvati.
